Let's light the Christmas candles!

How was the Christmas tour in the Reserve

Last weekend, the festive tour “Let’s Light the Christmas Candles” took place in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve. The hotel complex "Serguch" warmly welcomed everyone who wanted to celebrate the bright holiday of the Nativity of Christ in an unusual way. People were not frightened by the severe frosts in the protected lands!

To ensure that their stay in the reserve was not only enjoyable, but also educational, our guests went on an extensive excursion program, which began with creating the symbol of the tour − a Christmas candle – by hand. After this, tourists got immersed in the history of the reserve and got acquainted with the fauna of this wonderful territory in the Museum of Nature!

The journey into the exciting world of Belarusian culture continued in the Museums of Honey and Mythology. Here guests followed the long history of friendship between man and the honey bee. The Museum of Mythology showed the preconditions of nature conservation, when everything in Nature was spiritualized!

At the end of the day, the team of the “Serguch” hotel complex warmed up our guests with hot tea, delicious food and dessert liqueurs! Live music performed by the duet of Tatiana Bogovets and Tatiana Bogutskaya brightened the festive evening.

The morning of the second day pleased us with truly Pushkin weather! Fully ready for the severe frosts, our guests, accompanied by a guide, went to the “Forest Zoo” and the “Pet Zoo”, where they met the brown bears Umka and Vasilisa, which surprised them a lot, because everyone believed they should be sleeping! There our guests also met the charming bison Savely and looked at one of the symbols of Christmas − a graceful deer. During an excursion our guide told the visitors all the mysteries and secrets of life of our zoo inhabitants!
